Bamboo Airways appoints new chairman to drive international expansion

Bamboo Airways on Saturday appointed Nguyen Ngoc Trong who has worked for the airline since the early days of establishment as its new chairman.

Trong, 65, took the new position after his predecessor Dang Tat Thang resigned as chairman and general director.

Trong served as the first deputy general director of Bamboo Airways from 2018.

In April this year, he was appointed vice chairman after a series of senior leaders were arrested for allegedly manipulating the stock market.

He has more than 40 years of working experience in the aviation industry and has held many senior management positions at major firms like Vietnam Airlines, Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company, Vietnam Air Petrol Company Limited and Noi Bai Airport Services JSC.

Bamboo Airways currently operates nearly 170 flights a day on 40 domestic and 12 international routes.

The carrier plans to continue launching new international services to tourism markets in Asia, Europe and Australia.

It also plans to increase its fleet to 35 by the end of this year and triple its fleet size to 100 aircraft by 2028.

Emart plans 20 more hypermarkets in Vietnam

Emart Vietnam is planning to open two more supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City – one in Sala Thu Thiem and another in Go Vap District – part of a plan to launch 20 hypermarkets by 2026.

Emart Vietnam was acquired by Thiso International Commerce and Services Corporation (Thiso), a subsidiary of Thaco Group, last year after the South Korean-born chain experienced difficulties with its expansion ambitions in Vietnam.

The plans were revealed at an Emart Partners Day earlier this month. Chun Byung Ki, general director of Thiso Retail, reports that by 2026, the chain wants to have 20 locations nationwide and generate US$1 billion in sales, becoming the hypermarket chain with the largest market share in the country.

The Emart Sala Thu Thiem, which will occupy more than 6000 sqm, will be located in Thu Duc city’s Thiso Mall, while Thiso Retail Hypermarket, Trading and Service Center will house the new Emart Go Vap, which the company describes as the largest supermarket in HCM City.

Chun said Thaco’s real estate fund and multi-industry ecosystem will enable Emart to expand into other provinces, including Hanoi. An automated pick-up system will debut in Vietnam for the first time, allowing customers to pick up orders efficiently, and a one-hour delivery promise will be guaranteed to customers within a 5km radius.

Emart is one of the largest retailers in South Korea with locations across the globe. It was founded in 1993 by Shinsegae as the first low-cost retailer in the country. The company opened its first store in 2015 at Phan Van Tri in Go Vap District.

Gold producer SJC eyes 7% rise in profits

State-owned Saigon Jewelry Company targets pre-tax profits of VND60 billion ($2.6 million) on revenues of VND18.8 trillion this year, up 7% and 6% from last year.

Its targeted net profit margin is only 0.25%, much lower than the 5.11% for competitor Phu Nhuan Jewelry.

This year the government tasked SJC with privatizing and expanding into neighboring countries, but in July director Le Thuy Hang said the only focus currently is on achieving the sales and profit targets to be able to pay salaries.

Since 2012 SJC has been the sole gold bullion producer in Vietnam and its gold production is being closely monitored, Hang added.

Last year its profits fell 25% to VND17.7 trillion, the lowest since 2015, as the Covid-19 pandemic hindered forced it to close several stores.

  • WhatsApp’s next update finally adds top-requested feature

WhatsApp’s next update finally adds top-requested feature

WhatsApp plans to roll out new security and privacy features to users on all platforms, the social network announced today. This is a more comprehensive update that brings several improvements, including one of the most-requested privacy features, the ability to choose who can see when you’re online.

Besides that, the update introduces a new option that allows WhatsApp users to leave groups silently. Instead of notifying the full group when a user leaves, only the admins will receive a notification. According to WhatsApp, this specific feature will roll out to all users sometime this month.

Another important security feature that’s supposed to go live later is the ability to block screenshots for View Once messages. One of the most popular WhatsApp features, View Once brings users a new, safe way to share photos or media that they don’t want to be permanently recorded.

The update enables screenshot blocking for View Once messages, but WhatsApp is only testing this feature at the moment, so it’s not going to be available to everyone for a while.

Finally, the ability to choose who can see when you’re online will be rolled out to all users this month, WhatsApp confirmed. More details about how you’ll be able to use the upcoming feature are provided via the image above.

  • 5 Common Mistakes To Avoid When Selling On Amazon

5 Common Mistakes To Avoid When Selling On Amazon

Amazon provides an excellent platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to build a successful business by simply selling products. The products you sell should be of high quality while providing exceptional customer service at the same time.

Unfortunately, getting all those things right requires some time. Although building a successful business on Amazon is possible, the process has a steep learning curve. With that in mind, here are five common mistakes that you can’t afford to make when selling on Amazon:

    1. Assuming That Selling On Amazon Is A Straightforward Process

Running an online eCommerce business using other platforms such as Facebook or Shopify might sound easy, but the same can’t be said when you use Amazon. Setting up an Amazon Seller Account alone can take days to process before you can start listing products.

When setting up your Amazon Seller Account, it’s important that you understand all the rules of the platform and be familiar with them. Remember that Amazon implements strict rules for sellers. Breaking any of these rules can get your account suspended, or worse, banned from the site, and you lose a lot of money as a result.

So, if you’re looking to start a business on Amazon, be sure to know and understand its rules. If you aren’t sure how to sell on Amazon, take the time to do your research first.

    1. Incomplete Or Inaccurate Product Information

Product information is incredibly important for two main reasons. First, this is how your Amazon customers will find your products. Second, it’s what entices shoppers to have the confidence to buy your products.

Your Amazon listings should look appealing and well-organized so your customers can easily find what they’re looking for; if not, they’ll just go find it somewhere else. So, it’s crucial that you list your items properly. All items must have good titles, complete product descriptions, and high-quality photos.

    1. Ignoring Customer Reviews

Ignoring customer reviews is another common mistake that most new Amazon sellers make. On the platform, shoppers read reviews before making a purchase. So, the more reviews you gain, the better.

If your customers aren’t leaving feedback, encourage them to do so. Also, don’t be afraid of bad reviews. You can use them to improve your customer service and win back customers. Bad reviews can tell you about the things that your business must improve upon.

Lastly, you should never buy reviews or submit fake reviews as they can be easily flagged by shoppers and Amazon. Once Amazon confirms that the reviews on your products are fake, they’ll ban your account and prohibit you from selling on the platform again.

    1. Slow And Expensive Shipping

One of the reasons why many people go to Amazon to buy different kinds of products is because of its quick and inexpensive deliveries. With Amazon Prime, online shoppers can order a product today and have it delivered to their doorstep the next day.

It’s critical that you fully understand Amazon shoppers’ standards when it comes to shipping fees and deliveries. It’s one of the biggest reasons why they choose the website over other eCommerce platforms out there.

Just like in other eCommerce platforms, delayed deliveries and expensive shipping fees can discourage customers. Some will get so frustrated that they leave you with a bad review or negative seller feedback, which is bad for business.

    1. Poor Inventory Management

As an Amazon seller, you should do your best in making sure that your products are always in stock. Running out of stock never bodes well, especially if you’re looking to earn big profits. Having an out-of-stock sign on your Amazon products can cause you to lose your existing customers and lose the interest of potential shoppers. They’ll immediately move to your competitors who are more reliable with their inventory. Stay proactive and make a habit of managing and checking your inventory on a regular basis. Coordinate with your supplier at all times to ensure you never run out of stock.

The same can also be said about stockpiling too many items. It’s crucial that you do market research first to get an estimate of demand, then slowly build up your supply as you gradually increase your customer base.

    Final Thoughts

If you want to become successful in selling products on Amazon, you should minimize making mistakes. All of the mistakes mentioned above can be easily avoided if you’ve done your homework well. Educate yourself about the rules and regulations of Amazon and make use of the right tools to help you manage and run your eCommerce business more smoothly.

  • Musk still willing to buy Twitter under this one condition

Musk still willing to buy Twitter under this one condition

The richest man globally, worth nearly $280 billion, is Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The executive announced in the middle of April that he would buy social media app (and website) Twitter for $44 billion. But by early last month, Musk had withdrawn the offer leading Twitter to sue Musk and the latter to file a countersuit.. What made Musk change his mind was Twitter’s failure to prove to the multi-billionaire that spam and fake accounts make up less than 5% of the total number of Twitter accounts.
Musk believes that at least 10% of Twitter’s daily active users (DAU) that see ads are not authentic. Furthermore, Musk alleges in his countersuit that of the 229 million daily active users on Twitter, 65 million, or 28%, do not see any ads. To get a more accurate indication of the number of bogus accounts on Twitter, Musk used Botometer, a tool created by Indiana University that measures inauthentic accounts. With this tool, Elon’s team found more fake accounts than the number that Twitter disclosed, according to court filings.
With a trial set to begin in October, Musk’s lawyers wrote in a document submitted to the court, “Twitter was miscounting the number of false and spam accounts on its platform, as part of its scheme to mislead investors about the company’s prospects. Twitter’s disclosures have slowly unraveled, with Twitter frantically closing the gates on information in a desperate bid to prevent the Musk parties from uncovering its fraud.”
But having said all that, Reuters today cited a tweet disseminated early today by the Tesla CEO that says if Twitter could reveal how it samples 100 members and confirms that they are real Twitter users, his $44 billion bid to buy Twitter will be back on. But Musk added in his tweet, “However, if it turns out that their SEC filings are materially false, then it should not.”
In his court filing, Musk claims that Twitter double counts linked accounts. The multi-billionaire claims that Twitter had inflated monetized daily active users in its SEC filings by as many as 1.9 million people each quarter.
In response to another Twitter user who asked whether the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was investigating the “dubious claims” made by Twitter, Musk tweeted back, “Good question, why aren’t they?” The legal battle between both sides is taking on a harsh tone. This past Thursday Twitter rejected Musk’s claim that he had been tricked into bidding for Twitter.
Tinged with sarcasm, Twitter’s response was filed with the court and it said, “According to Musk, he — the billionaire founder of multiple companies, advised by Wall Street bankers and lawyers — was hoodwinked by Twitter into signing a $44 billion merger agreement.” Twitter added, “That story is as implausible and contrary to fact as it sounds.”
Bret Taylor, Twitter’s Chairman of the Board, said of Musk, “His claims are factually inaccurate, legally insufficient and commercially irrelevant.” And as far as the Botometer tool is concerned, Twitter called it unreliable and pointed out that it once called Mr. Musk’s own Twitter account “highly likely to be a bot.” In its lawsuit, Twitter said, “Musk refuses to honor his obligations to Twitter and its stockholders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests.”
A “specific performance” clause that is part of the contract allows Twitter to sue to get the deal to close as long as Musk’s financing remains in place. But if the funding for the deal falls through, Musk can pay $1 billion to end his obligations to buy Twitter.
While Musk is a multi-billionaire, much of his wealth is tied up in Tesla shares. Musk planned to borrow against the value of some of his Tesla shares to raise as much as $12.5 billion. A dangerous financial maneuver, had Tesla shares declined sharply, Musk could have been forced to pay additional funds with a margin call, or have the Tesla shares pledged as collateral for the loan sold out from under him.
Eventually, the executive decided against borrowing against his Tesla holdings before scraping the deal altogether. Still, the tweet that Musk posted today reveals that there is still a path to a completed acquisition.
  • How to get likes on Instagram – paid and free methods

How to get likes on Instagram – paid and free methods

It’s no secret that success on Instagram brings many benefits to both bloggers and companies. With the help of this platform, you can increase sales, tell a wide audience about your brand and become popular. Likes are one of the indicators of account success. The more of them, the better the profile statistics and the future of its author.

Today we will talk about how you can increase this indicator in your posts and give examples of effective paid and free methods.

    Services to increase the audience

It should be noted right away that it is important to find a website that has been operating for a long time and has a large client base and positive reviews. When accessing services such as Viplikes, for example, you can not worry about the safety of using this method and calmly buy Instagram likes. These websites have proven themselves to be honest and legit with time and customer reviews, so you’re safe from doing business with them.

Beware of young services with a dubious reputation. There may be scammers who will take your money and will not bring any result.

    Freelance exchange

If you have already turned to special websites to buy real Instagram likes and now you want to try some other ways, then you can go to freelance exchanges for help. There you can get from ten to hundreds of new viewers, but no more. This works if you have just started an account and you need a minimum initial audience.

    Unusual unique content

Unlike the previous two, this is a free option to increase the audience, but it is more complex. Many novice creators only copy other people’s work and do nothing unique, but this is a road to nowhere.

To impress a large number of viewers, you need to shoot unusual photos that will surprise the audience and evoke different emotions in them.

In order to make your profile as attractive as possible, you should use professional photo editors or start working with a photographer who will create and edit pictures for your account. We understand that most likely you would like to save on content creation, especially at the very beginning. However, this approach will not lead you to a quick and good result.

Commenting on posts of other profiles

It is quite possible to fulfill a dream and gain an audience from other authors for free if you are active in the comments. You can support your colleagues or ask them questions and join discussions on some topics.

The main thing is to always be polite and not start conflicts, because making enemies is not the best way to gain popularity. Remember that readers of all brands and influencers will support them in conflict with you and you risk getting a whole community of enemies.

    Be yourself

Do not try to create an image that does not reflect your real thoughts and views. Sooner or later people will feel lies and hypocrisy, and no one approves of these qualities. Be honest with your audience and tell them how you really feel.

The same goes for brands. Each company has its own decision-making policy and its own views. Follow them so that people clearly understand the interests of the brand and know who they are buying the product from.

  • What Are The Benefits Of Ergonomics In The Workplace?

What Are The Benefits Of Ergonomics In The Workplace?

There is no doubt about it, ergonomics are helping to create a safe and efficient work environment for employees in offices so that they can perform at their highest level without having to worry about any physical injury. The main reason behind the implementation of ergonomics is the basis of creating a safe and efficient work environment where employees feel like going every day.

Some people, however, still avoid ergonomics and the implementation of a workplace because they think that it is not worth spending so much to make sure that employees don’t suffer any physical injury. These people are clearly wrong because there is no reason to risk the health of your employees over a little investment. Read on more to find out the importance of ergonomics in the workplace and why ergonomics shouldn’t be ignored:

    Improved Health Of Employees

The main reason why ergonomic workplaces are designed is to improve the health of workers there. When employees work in a workstation where everything is comforting and beneficial for their health then they suffer fewer injuries. The major problem that people face while working in poor ergonomic workplaces is musculoskeletal disorders. Simply by improving the posture and maintaining the height of the chairs, you can see a 50% decrease in MSK disorders.

Similarly, ergonomic workstations include adjustable chairs so that you can work at a specific position where you won’t be putting strain and tension on your eyes or neck. It also prevents the development of varicose veins and swelling in the legs because ergonomic workstations are designed in such a way that your blood flow is optimal.

    Higher Productivity Levels

With an ergonomic workplace, your employees are better focused and they can work at higher productivity levels. By designing a workstation that is adjustable and allows for good posture, less force extortion, better reaches, and fewer motions, the employees are going to love it just as a board game lover loves the Word Unscrambler. An ergonomic workstation allows your employees to focus better which results in them having high levels of productivity.

For your business to be successful, it needs to have productivity. Just changing the workplace for your employees and making it better for them will make them feel more comfortable, and valued, and they will feel like giving their best, which is obviously in the interest of your business.

    Better Work Quality

If the place where employees work is not properly built and the workstation has poor ergonomics then it will lead to frustrated and fatigued workers who won’t be able to produce the best quality of work. Just because their workstation isn’t comfortable, the tools that they work with aren’t of high quality, they feel fatigued all the time due to which their work quality is affected.

Simply by improving the ergonomics of the workstation and providing the highest quality of tools to employees and workers, you can see the best quality of work from them.

    Eliminates Potential Work Hazards

Just as a person working in a lab wears a white coat, gloves, and safety goggles to protect himself against potential lab hazards, ergonomics in the workplace help to eliminate potential hazards. There are some unsafe distractions and daily hazards that can hurt your employees which can lead to serious consequences later on.

Simply by applying ergonomics in the workplace, eliminating hazards that you observe yourself, and asking employees about the hazards that they face daily, you will be not only improving their safety but also letting them know that you care about them.

    Increased Employee Engagement

When employees notice that their employer is making an effort to provide the best conditions possible to work and cares about their health and safety, they will feel like being a part of different business activities. Their interest in business activities will develop just as one’s interest in Scrabble develops after finding out about the Scrabble Word Finder

You will notice they will be more motivated to work every day and this will help to reduce the turnover rate and increase the loyalty of employees as they would prefer working in a safe and comfortable place.

    Happier Employees

Along with increased engagement, ergonomics also helps to produce happier employees. It all comes to you that how better are you able to utilize ergonomics in the office. The better you utilize ergonomics, the happier your employees will be. They will love coming to a workplace where they are able to work in a comfortable, distraction-free, and relaxing environment.

You will notice it yourself when you will see that the mood of every employee is lightened up. When your employees are happy then it means that good days are coming for your company as they will be performing their jobs at the highest levels.

Smartphone penetration is increasing across the globe, and further, internet service affordability is increasing too. On top of it, 5G technology has either rolled out or is on the verge of rolling out in many countries. According to many experts, the 5G network will revolutionise the gaming industry in many ways. Here is how 5G will create a revolution in the gaming industry.

    Cloud Gaming

The impact of 5G will be highly prominent in cloud gaming. With the advancement in cloud gaming, gamers can let go of the need to invest in expensive hardware to play their favourite game. With a simple subscription, playing video games on any device, too, will be possible by using additional tools like TapTap. However, a few infrastructural requirements need to be met to bring this advancement. With the mass adoption of 5G, getting the desired result from cloud gaming is possible.

Also, with cloud gaming, there will not be any need to store any games. This will save plenty of space in the device, and also, it will save plenty of time as the gamer will not have to wait for the games to be downloaded.

Complex And Engrossing Story For Video Games

5G can bring many high-end AAA games to the mainstream. It can meet the demand for augmented and virtual reality along with support for Auto Clicker and different gaming tools to provide a unique experience to the gamers. The 5G network guarantees a high internet speed and better reliability.

With this newfound freedom, the game makers can work on creating bigger games that support engrossing and complex stories. Hence, the gaming quality will improve drastically.

    Smoother Multiplayer Games

In the past few years, multiplayer games had become a huge hit, especially during the lockdown when the people engaged with each other through such games. However, multiplayer games are heavy and require a seamless internet connection.

Any lagging issue on the internet can spoil the entire gaming experience of the user. With a 5G connection, the player will not face any lagging issues. Consequently, the multi-gaming experience will become even smoother.

    Localised Gaming Events

Gaming events are a huge hit. Not only do gamers love to participate in such events, but a large section of people love to watch such events. With 5G, there is a huge scope of expansion in such gaming events, especially in terms of localised events. Further, it will generate more participation and will have a greater viewership. Subsequently, sponsorship opportunities will increase, and it is possible to bring such gaming events mainstream.

    Saves The Mobile Battery

Resource-intensive games like Fortnite are known to drain the battery of the smartphone. It is because such games consume a lot of computing power. However, with 5G, such games can be easily available on the cloud with low latency.

Also, the game developers can work to eliminate the heavy computation required in creating the games. This will improve the battery life of the smartphone.

Growth Of Gaming In Smaller Cities

The perfect combination of affordable smartphones and a 5G network can increase the gaming audience by multiple folds. It is already evident from many surveys that the number of gamers is increasing worldwide. However, there is still a large section of the region where the potential for development in gaming is still high.

The availability of a 5G network in such a region will allow the users to enjoy graphic-rich games. This, in turn, will increase the popularity of gaming even in underdeveloped regions.

The 5G network not only brings with it a faster internet connection but many other experiences for the gamers. However, the faster internet connection has a major role to play. The many benefits of 5G in gaming can fix the lagging issue, cost and other technical hurdles.

It will help the gaming industry to grow and allow gamers to enjoy a seamless gaming experience. In short, the 5G is here to revolutionise the gaming industry. The total result will soon be visible in the future when the 5G network becomes the standard network in almost all the regions of the world.

  • Vietnam Airlines cuts losses by nearly half

Vietnam Airlines cuts losses by nearly half

Vietnam Airlines managed to cut its losses by 44 percent year-on-year in the second quarter to VND2.48 trillion ($106.25 million), thanks to soaring summer travel demand.

Its revenues nearly tripled to VND18.43 trillion, exceeding its target by 35 percent.

This was the highest quarterly revenue since 2020 when travel was yet to be affected by Covid-19. But the high fuel prices remain a sore point for the carrier.

At the end of June, JetA1 fuel was above US$160 per barrel, double the average price last year.

International travel demand has not fully picked up, especially in Northeast Asian countries, which were a major source of tourists for Vietnam pre-pandemic.

The airline also saw sales expenses double to VND660 billion.

First half losses were down 39 percent to VND5.1 trillion.

Its accumulated losses have climbed to VND28.9 trillion. The airline expects the summer travel season to last until the end of August and the relaxed entry restrictions in other countries to help boost its revenues.

Vietnam Airlines and its low-cost subsidiaries Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Air Services Company together transported nearly 9.5 million passengers in the first six months, 24.6 percent higher than targeted.

Vietnam Airlines accounted for eight million.

  • Bamboo Airways appoints new general director after predecessor quits

Bamboo Airways appoints new general director after predecessor quits

Bamboo Airways appointed new general director Friday night after Dang Tat Thang, who helped set up the airline in the early days, resigned as its chairman and general director.

Nguyen Manh Quan took the new position after having served as the carrier’s deputy general director.

Quan joined Bamboo Airways in July 2020 and has 30 years of experience in aviation, service, and commerce. He used to work for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Airlines, Noi Bai Airport Services Company, and Vinpearl.

Bamboo Airways said in a statement Friday: “The transition of the general director position is part of the work to consolidate the high-ranking management system to speed up the process of restructuring of and selecting strategic investors for FLC and Bamboo Airways.

After leaders of property group FLC, the parent company of Bamboo Airways, got into legal trouble earlier this year, the airline has been in the process of looking for new investors to accompany and serve its future development needs.

Thang said in his resignation letter that for some personal reasons, there were many things that he needs to sort out, therefore he could not arrange to continue his current positions. He also resigned as FLC’s vice chairman.

Thang, 41, was appointed chairman of FLC and Bamboo Airways after former chairman Trinh Van Quyet was arrested at the end of March for allegedly manipulating the stock market.

He served as FLC’s vice chairman from early this month after the group elected Le Ba Nguyen as its new chairman for until 2026 at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting.

Thang started working at FLC in 2014 as deputy general director, in charge of investment and project development. He was the leader of Bamboo Airways from the early days of its establishment in 2018.

Under his management, Bamboo Airways has generated rapid development with a roster of 30 aircraft and became the first private airline in Vietnam to operate wide-body aircraft. After over three years, Bamboo Airways is operating nearly 60 domestic routes and 12 international routes, including routes to the U.K., Germany and Australia.

In his most recent public appearance in July, Thang said that Bamboo Airways aims to increase its roster to 100 aircraft by 2028.

  • Are We Heading Towards Passwordless Log-In?

Are We Heading Towards Passwordless Log-In?

Technology is constantly evolving, and new innovation is taking place. Firstly, the users had a password to protect their accounts; multi-factor authentication was created to give an extra layer of protection. However, with time, new requirements emerged. For instance, keeping a strong password or changing the password at regular intervals which then became a matter of inconvenience. Now with new changes, we are heading towards passwordless sign-in.

    Why Passwordless Log-In?

Passwords once considered secure are no longer secure enough to protect different accounts. Passwords can be guessed and hacked. For instance, a laptop whose password is guessable can be operated by anyone, which can have many dangers, especially when IP addresses can be easily tracked. If you do not know the IP address of your device, use What Is My IP platform. Finding the IP address can be this easy!

Also, most users do not follow any digital hygiene while creating or securing their passwords. It is common to find users one or two passwords for all the accounts simply because it is easier to remove. The downside is that if one account is compromised, all accounts are at risk.

Therefore, big companies like Google, Apple and Microsoft are moving towards Fast ID Online Alliance (FIDO) or passwordless sign-in, which is considered both secure and convenient for everyone, especially if it becomes industry standard.

    The Problem With Passwords

Every account requires a password. An average internet user will have plenty of accounts, a few important ones like an online bank account and a few unimportant ones like a gaming account. However, the accounts’ passwords are almost similar for easy remembrance. This makes passwords extremely unsafe.

There are plenty of other issues with passwords. With the brute force method, it is easy to generate a common username and password combination that can compromise an account. With credential stuffing, the information available in one account can be used to compromise another account. Phishing, one of the most common ways of carrying out a cyberattack, can leak a victim’s credentials. Keylogging can capture the username and password keystrokes of the users. Hence, there are many problems, which is why passwordless log-in is in the picture now.

    Passwordless Log-In And Its Types

Passwordless log–in allows passwordless authentication. In other words, it can verify the identity of the user without the need of the password. There are plenty of ways through which password log-in can be supported.

Firstly, biometrics like fingerprint or retina scans and behavioural traits will play a key role in identifying a person without needing a password. We already have a fingerprint and face scanner that enables the user to login into a device like a laptop or a smartphone without entering a password. However, its application is not still widely used in the software.

A second way to support passwordless log-in is through the possession factor. In this approach, the identity can be verified with authentication of something the user carries. It can include OTP through SMS and even codes generated by a smartphone authenticator app. We mostly see its usage in multi-factor authentication.

Further, there is an option of running magic links to the users. In this method, the user receives a magic link in their email address through which they can access their account.

    The Benefits Of Passwordless Log-In

Passwordless log-in is beneficial, especially for the users who use risky passwords for their accounts. Further, it enhances the user experience by eliminating the need to keep and remember different passwords. This increases the convenience of the users. Few of the major benefits of password-less authentication come in the form of improved user experience, strengthened security and simplification of IT operations.

Apple, Google And Microsoft Are Supporting FIDO

All three prominent companies have joined together to show their support for FIDO. With the development in this segment, it will become possible for consumers to engage in passwordless sign-ins across all platforms and devices. If implemented, the user will need to sign into different services individually, on their devices. This will also enable switching passwords.

With the expansion of the services, the users will further be able to sign in without passwords both in their new and old devices via FIDO. it will eliminate the need for individual login to the different accounts. FIDO is further trying to enhance the smartphone sign-in option. If the development follows the plan, the smartphone will act as a universal key for all the users’ accounts.

  • In House Content Development: Is It Worth The Investment?

In House Content Development: Is It Worth The Investment?

Content creation is important in the present time, especially when digital marketing is booming across the globe. With the world going online, pushing out relevant content for the consumers is extremely important for a business. With the help of content, it is possible to increase brand awareness and brand loyalty and further build customer engagement.

However, pushing out good content and that too consistently is difficult. This raises the question of whether one should have in-house content development or outsourcing is a good idea. In-house content development requires plenty of resources like the high-internet connection that you can verify on either Speed Test or PLDT, a proper dedicated team and financial resources. On the other hand, when you outsource content development, you must specify the guidelines.

It raises the question of whether one should engage in in-house content development or outsource it. Both of them demand investment in resources. However, which process is worth the investment?

Outsourcing Content For Long Term Is Bad

In the beginning stage, many businesses outsource the content because it looks like the best option. It is the best option, especially when a business is just starting. However, in the long term, outsourcing content is a bad idea. Firstly, most businesses experience hiccups during the entire content generation process. The risk increases, especially when the client fails to meet the deadline. As a result, the return on investment decreases significantly.

Further, the client may not always know about the daily development of customers and prospects and aligning everyone at the same time always requires time and effort investment. Furthermore, if all the recent developments are not considered, the content quality suffers. On the other hand, the in-house content development team takes into account all these factors. Here are a few reasons why investment in in-house content development is worth it.

    Deeper Understanding Of The Brand

A dedicated team working for the brand and constantly in touch with the development taking place in the company will always have a deeper understanding of the brand. Further, content creation requires experimentation. The in-house team can take the risks of experimenting with different content and further polish it depending on the requirement of the brand and customers.

    Flow Of Ideas

An in-house team can easily access all the members working for the brand. Therefore, it becomes extremely easy to stay in touch and connect the different dots to create the perfect brand. One does not require to engage over email or phone again and again to change the instructions or to give out feedback. Graphic designers, product designers, photographers, and other key members can all work together to create the best content possible.
