Revolut Founders: a Russian and a Ukrainian

Vladimir Putin could learn a thing or two about successful cooperation from the co-founders of Revolut.

Revolut’s co-founders CEO Nik Storonsky and CTO Vlad Yatsenko, who are Russian and Ukrainian respectively, show what a successful collaboration between the two nationalities can accomplish.

Founded in 2015, Revolut is both the fastest growing and widely used neo bank in Switzerland. While not a real bank itself, Revolut partners with Credit Suisse to provide its services.

Like the connection of their Swiss neobank to Credit Suisse, both men also share a Swiss connection. Storonsky was an emerging markets equity derivatives trader at Credit Suisse, and Yatsenko worked at Paradeplatz rival UBS.

On Thursday the U.K. revealed a list of sanctions against Russia, with Foreign Secretary Liz Truss stressing that it is an «unprecedented package of sanctions decisively delivers the highest economic cost we have ever imposed on the Kremlin.

For now, the U.K. sanctions appear to be targeted at Russian President Vladimir Putin, his inner circle and raising finance on the UK financial markets. Both Storonsky and Yatsenko are certainly watching the conflict unfold in personal terms. The business side is also keeping an eye on developments.

As a U.K. business subject to regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Revolut operates in compliance with all applicable sanctions law and legislation. We continue to monitor the situation in Ukraine carefully and will take any further actions required as necessary, a spokesman for Revolut told finews.com.

But when you talk about destruction, don’t you know that you can count me out, to quote the Beatles.

  • US Regulator Keeps Eyes on Musk

US Regulator Keeps Eyes on Musk

The US regulators are investigating Elon Musk and his brother Kimbal in connection to insider trading.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is enquiring whether Tesla CEO Elon Musk told his brother Kimbal in advance about a Twitter poll, which caused the carmaker’s shares to fall, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Tesla shares fell immediately after its CEO asked the public in a Twitter poll in November last year whether he should divest a chunk of his shares to pay taxes.

Kimbal sold 88,500 Tesla shares valued at $108 million a day before the online poll was announced, leaving him with 511,240 shares after the sale, the report says.

In an email sent to the Financial Times Elon Musk denied passing information that could have influenced Tesla’s stock price to Kimbal.

The idea that I would care about whether my brother might sell shares for a few million dollars less when my Twitter poll caused my own share sale to be over a billion dollars less is utterly absurd, Musk said.

In an apparent reference to the SEC’s Steven Buchholz, Musk added the investigation was simply more evidence of Stevie grinding his very tiny axe yet again.

Musk’s lawyers have recently accused the SEC of mounting a harassment campaign against him.

  • Skoda to build plant in Vietnam

Skoda to build plant in Vietnam

Czech automaker Skoda is set to build a plant in the northern province of Quang Ninh and expects to begin production and exports of vehicles by 2023.
Leaders of the company have worked with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the plan of building the factory.

Martin Jahn, a director of Skoda Auto, said the Vietnamese car market is relatively small but very promising.

“The political and trade ties between the two countries represent extensive opportunities for cooperation.”

There are 44 Czech projects in Vietnam with a total investment of $91 million, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Mercedes-Benz and Peugeot are two European carmakers with plants in Vietnam, while BMW’s factory is expected to be completed this year.

Skoda manufactured around 900,000 cars last year and sold nearly half in Western Europe.

Established in 1925, it is a subsidiary of German auto giant Volkswagen.

  • Vietnam Electricity posts $207.6-mln profit

    Vietnam Electricity posts $207.6-mln profit

State power utility Vietnam Electricity (EVN) made a profit of VND4.74 trillion ($207.6 million) from all activities in 2020.

But, its core business of electricity production and trading reported VND1.3 trillion in losses due to price reduction and discounts. In 2020, EVN sold each kilowatt-hour for an average VND1,820.20, down 1.68 percent from 2019.

Reduction in sales price, together with changes in electricity load and consumption due to Covid-19, and VND12.3-trillion bill discounts for pandemic-hit customers, are cited as reasons for the loss.

The company reported more than VND6 trillion in revenue from its financial activities, capital transfers, and dividends profits in 2020.

  • Taxi firms eye fare surge amid gasoline price hike

Taxi firms eye fare surge amid gasoline price hike

Taxi firms expect to increase their fares as gasoline prices hit an all-time high.

Nguyen Cong Hung, Chairman of the Hanoi Taxi Association, said taxi firms planned to increase fares by 5-8 percent, or VND500-800 per kilometer ($1 ≈ VND22,800).

The gasoline price surge has increased taxi firm fuel costs by 13.8 percent, he added.

“Most taxi firms in Ho Chi Minh City will be forced to increase their fares” if gasoline prices stay at the current all-time high, Ta Long Hy, Chairman of the HCMC Taxi Association said.

Vietnam gasoline prices hit a new peak Monday, after authorities adjusted them upward for the fifth time in a row. The price of popular gasoline RON 95 rose 3.79 percent to VND26,280, while that of biofuel E5 RON 92 rose 3.9 percent to VND25,530. To reduce gasoline prices, taxi companies, which have been badly hit by Covid-19, recommended the environmental tax be cut as soon as possible.

Environmental tax comprises the highest taxes on gasoline, accounting for around 15 percent of the retail price.

Currently, the environmental tax on RON 95 gasoline is VND4,000 per liter, while that of biofuel E5 RON 92 is VND3,800.

Taxes and fees add up to 42-43 percent of gasoline retail prices.

All-time high gasoline prices and Covid-19 woes have placed many taxi firms in a financial dire strait.

At the end of 2021, taxi giant Vinasun reported a 52 percent decrease in revenue year-on-year, and a net loss of nearly VND274 billion. It had to lay off 2,500 employees, including 1,800 drivers last year, to reduce operating costs.

Mai Linh, another taxi giant, has yet to publish its 2021 report. However, in 2020, the company reported a loss of VND173 billion, and a total accumulated loss of VND1.21 trillion.

  • Deliveroo Partners with The Jade Club to Deliver 600 Covid-19 Care Packages to Hong Kong’s Elderly

Deliveroo Partners with The Jade Club to Deliver 600 Covid-19 Care Packages to Hong Kong’s Elderly

Deliveroo today announced its partnership with The Jade Club, a social enterprise serving Hong Kong’s elderly population since 2012, in a unique campaign to help provide the elderly in Hong Kong with Covid-19 care packages. Over 70 volunteer riders and employees have been an integral part of the efficient and timely delivery of over 600 care packages in the city. The initiative is part of Deliveroo’s global community-focused campaign, Full Life, which aims to utilize its unique network of riders, restaurants, and grocers to support communities in cities where Deliveroo operates.

As the fifth Covid-19 wave is hitting the city, The Jade Club has worked closely with 25 non-profit organizations and community partners such as Windshield Charitable Foundation SSP Social Services and The Mong Kok Kai Fong Association Chan Hing Social Services Centre, to put together with care packages, each containing masks, at-home Covid-19 tests, rice, and cleaning sprays, to support Hong Kong’s vulnerable and elderly population living in Yau Tsim Mong and Sham Shui Po. More than 600 packs were delivered by Deliveroo riders and employees. The deliveries took place on the weekend of 26-28 February, with over 70 of Deliveroo volunteer riders and employees to aid with the logistics of getting the packages to the doors of the beneficiaries by carrying out contactless deliveries as a way to give back to the community.

”Supporting our local neighborhoods and communities remains our foremost priority, and we have worked with various organizations throughout the pandemic to ensure that people in need receive the help they require. This year, with the epidemic raging in Hong Kong, many more people have been adversely impacted, particularly the city’s most vulnerable and elderly residents.  By teaming up with The Jade Club, we hope to create a lasting impact by employing Deliveroo’s expertise and resources to deliver support to those that most need it,”  said Andrew Hui, General Manager, Deliveroo Hong Kong. “Our riders, in a recent survey, have expressed an interest in being involved in volunteer work as a means to give back to the community. We have received a tremendous response from them within a very short time, offering to extend a helping hand on this initiative, and we are extremely grateful and proud of their generosity. They are heroes not just for feeding everyone who wishes to stay at home during this pandemic, but also for supporting those in need.”

Thanking Deliveroo for partnering with the care package initiative, Patrick Cheung, Founder and Chairman of The Jade Club said, “The extent of our efforts to provide care packages to the elderly in the city is determined in large part by our ability to distribute them effectively. Having Deliveroo as our partner enables us to rely on their expertise in ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and this has helped boost the impact of this initiative. We cannot thank their volunteer riders enough for the commitment they have to this cause.”

Mr. Cheng, a Deliveroo walker, was quick to volunteer for the care package delivery. He said, “I am touched at the thought of serving the people of my city in meaningful ways and putting a smile on the faces of the elderly. It is important to me that I work with a company that cares, and Deliveroo has not only been providing essential services to consumers at this critical time but also going out of its way to create opportunities for us to give back to the community.”

A group of elderly residents of Tsim Sha Tsui were overjoyed when they were told that care packages would be coming their way soon, with one of them, Mr. Liu, saying: “This is a really fantastic gesture. With everything that is going on in Hong Kong right now, we are grateful that people are thinking about us and extending their support at a time when we need it the most.”

Deliveroo has been committed to supporting the local community through a variety of partnerships over the years. Some of these include Deliveroo’s Food Drive and fundraising campaign for its customers to support Feeding Hong Kong via the delivery app’s donation feature. In addition, as part of the company’s commitment to promoting positive values, CSR campaigns with a focus on animal protection and adoption, as well as a blood donation drive, were also organised, which saw an overwhelming participation from Deliveroo riders and employees.

  • Vietnam continues to cut down on solar power

The solar power capacity planned by Vietnam for 2031-2045 is “too high” should be reduced to give space for wind power, the government says.

In a communiqué issued by the Government Office Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh said the capacity for solar power set in the Power Development Master Plan VIII for the 2021-2030 period with vision until 2045 was “too high.”

As proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Feb. 21, the national power capacity from now until 2030 would be 146,000 megawatts (MW), 9,000 MW less than the plan announced last November. By 2045, the planned capacity would be 352,000 MW.

In the 2031-2045 period, solar power will make up 25 percent of the total power capacity, the ministry said.

Deputy PM Thanh has commented that the proportion of solar power capacity should be lowered while that of offshore wind power should be increased.

According to state-owned Vietnam Electricity (EVN), as of 2021, Vietnam was among the top 10 countries with the highest solar power capacity at 16,504 MW, accounting for 2.3 percent worldwide.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade submitted the first draft of the Power Development Master Plan VIII to the government last March. Since then the plan has been revised four times.

The ministry has asked that the plan’s implementation be deferred to the second quarter this year.

  • Clubhouse gets a text chat feature for live audio rooms

Clubhouse gets a text chat feature for live audio rooms

Clubhouse, an audio chat app that debuted back in 2020 as an exclusive social network, is now adding a feature that seems to be contrary to its initial live audio chat purpose. 9to5Mac reports that there is a major change to the app coming, and will let users interact in voice rooms with text chat.

Clubhouse’s live audio chat was an idea that was quickly followed by competitors such as Twitter and Reddit. Now, the app is going to add a text chat option for people who don’t feel like they want to talk in the live audio chat rooms.

The app has announced in its official blog that there is a new feature that would allow everyone to be able to join live conversations, whether by voice or text. The new addition to Clubhouse’s feature set is dubbed “In-Room Chat”, and it works in a similar manner to Zoom or Skype. Basically, you will be able to chat within a live audio room.

The blog post reads that the feature will be useful to share jokes, request songs, or send emojis as reactions to what’s being talked about.

On top of that, voice room moderators will be able to delete chat messages. Basically, creators can appoint mods to keep an eye on the chat and delete messages if found inappropriate.

Understandably though, if the room has hundreds or thousands of people, the task of moderating chat comments will indeed prove to be quite difficult.

As a creator, you will also be able to delete chat messages at any moment, and even after the live session has ended. Additionally, you will be able to turn off the In-Room chat at any moment as well, if it proves to be unproductive or annoying.

Creators can choose to disable text chat when starting a new audio room if they don’t feel like having the feature. Additionally, the audience will also be able to report comments in the chat and provide feedback to moderators, so that the text chat is safe from trolls.

Another useful feature of the In-Room chat option is that you will be able to delete your comment during the live room or after the live room has ended.

Audio rooms that have chat enabled will appear with a dedicated icon at the bottom left of the screen. When the live audio ends, all messages sent during the session will be available for reading to anyone listening to the Replay of the session.

But that’s not all the new feature is expected to bring. The social network says that the text chat will give creators an option to make quick polls or ask questions in a live chat with multiple people.

The new In-Room Chat feature is currently rolling out with the latest version of the Clubhouse app from the App Store.

As you may probably know, initially, the Clubhouse app was available only on iOS and Android devices. In January though, Clubhouse expanded its platform to the web, and with this, anyone could listen to a live chat. However, it is still not possible to join from the web as a speaker during live audio sessions.

The option to listen to a live audio chat on Clubhouse from your desktop doesn’t require you to be logged in, so basically creators can share live audio chats with multiple people (only for listening on the web though, as we said, it is not possible to join to talk from your PC or Mac).

  • Google Maps traffic triples in Ukraine

Google Maps traffic triples in Ukraine

Google’s Transparency reports are designed to show “how the policies and actions of governments and corporations affect privacy, security, and access to information online.” And the policies and actions of the government in Russia, by invading Ukraine, are having an effect on the demand for information available online in the latter country.

Maybe it shouldn’t come as a surprise considering what is going on in Ukraine, but usage of Google Maps nearly tripled in that country over the last few days as many families have been taking to the roads trying to get over the Ukrainian border to Poland. Television reports show hours-long waits at service stations and heavy traffic on the roads leading to the border.

The impact on Google Maps usage in Ukraine can be seen graphically thanks to the charts tweeted by Damian Menscher, who is the Security Reliability Engineer responsible for DDoS defense at Google. Menscher tweeted a graph showing how the online traffic from inside Ukraine to Google Maps rose from a score of 55.239 on February 23rd, to 157.275 the very next day, peaking at 186.983 on February 24th.

That’s only half the story. Menscher included in his tweet a graph showing the declining traffic from Ukraine to Google Docs and Google Sheets as businesses are not running as usual in the country thanks to the invasion. Traffic to both sites from Ukraine declined by about 3x during the same time period.

Gmail, Search, and YouTube traffic from Ukraine did not significantly budge since the invasion. We’ve heard reports of Ukrainians seeking shelter in the subway watching YouTube to catch the latest news on the War and to pass the time. This might have propped up YouTube’s numbers inside the country since we’re sure that most Ukrainians are not interested in watching cat videos at this time.

  • Samsung Electronics CEO accepts unions’ request for talks

Samsung Electronics CEO accepts unions’ request for talks

The past few weeks have been a rather turbulent time for Samsung Electronics, and it had nothing to do with the Galaxy S22 series. The company has been heading towards its potential first-ever strike, with a workers’ union coming together to fight against unfairly low wages—but Samsung has already taken the first move towards remedying the situation.

The workers’ union at Samsung had submitted a demand for wage renegotiations which was to be answered by Friday at the latest, to avoid a full-blown strike. The union was already legally authorized to go on strike, but on Friday, the company committed to an official meeting for wage negotiations to be held in early March.

The employees involved in the union had been growing increasingly dissatisfied at the company’s refusal to provide significant wage increases or bonuses after the company’s performance in 2021. Although Samsung reportedly fell short of its 2021 production goals, this was owed to the devastation of the pandemic and chip shortages, rather than any drop in employee performance.

Earlier this month, the union requested that the workers be granted a ten-million-won (roughly $8,400) annual salary increase, as well as performance-based bonuses calculated at 25% of the year’s operating profit.

The company originally blatantly rejected the demand, but thanks to Samsung’s response on Friday, however, a full strike may be avoided if the two parties come to a mutually satisfactory agreement.

The organizers of the union stated on Friday that “We received an official reply from the management to our request for a dialogue with the company’s chief executives. We are delighted that the management has changed its stance.”Because of the size of the company, Samsung still hasn’t been decided which CEO will be chosen to participate in the discussion. The upcoming CEO election may complicate the factors around the decision, as the election will take place on March 16, where President Kyung Kye-hyun will be appointed as a new co-CEO.

  • Insurance Policy For Electric Scooters In India

Insurance Policy For Electric Scooters In India

The government of our country recently created a goal of going “completely electric” to limit the spread of pollution. India is one of the first five countries globally which use conventional fuels. Due to this, the environment faces a grave threat, which is why electric scooters are being promoted more and more these days. Having proper insurance if you have an electric scooter is important as well because your scooter is an asset. When you claim the insurance in case of damage, you get reimbursed.

Some of the main benefits of getting your electric scooter insured include:

    • Getting insurance for your electric scooter complies with the government’s law. The government requires every vehicle to be registered and insured.
    • It helps you financially in case of accidents and mishaps. The components of electric scooters are very expensive and therefore, having insurance to cover the costs is very important.
    • Even if your electric scooter malfunctions or breaks down, the money will get reimbursed. Thus, an insurance policy saves you from spending money out of your pocket in case of accidents.
    • Go for a policy that offers full coverage at a reasonable price.
    • Prioritize going for digital-based insurance companies since they can be quickly acquired and easily claimed.
    • Compare the pros and cons of numerous policies before locking in on one.
    • Ensure that you are legally ready and responsible.
    • Read the fine print stating the terms and conditions thoroughly before making the purchase.

    DOCUMENTS NEEDED:

    • Proof of Identification – Voter’s ID Card, Aadhaar
    • Proof of Address – Passport, Driver’s License, Aadhaar
    • Recently-Captured Passport-Sized Photographs

    TYPES OF INSURANCES:

There are generally two variants of electric scooter insurance in India. They are:

    • Third-Party Liability Insurance – Considered to be the main type of insurance, the third-party liability insurance protects the insured vehicle from any sort of financial as well as legal liability caused as a result of accidental damages.
    • Comprehensive Two Wheelers Insurance – This kind of insurance offers an extra layer of security and safety. This policy provides protects the insured vehicle from numerous natural as well as man-made disasters.

    WHY PURCHASE AN INSURANCE POLICY?

There are two main reasons why you should get your electric scooter insured as soon as possible. They are:

    • Electric Scooters sport a heavy price tag and therefore, they should be insured to save money in case an accident takes place.
    • Electric scooters have high maintenance charges. They are quite powerful and therefore, need as much protection as they can get. An insurance policy guarantees that.

Getting your electric scooter insured is both a logical and a sensible thing to do if you wish to save money in the long run. There are many insurance companies out there that offer electric scooter insurance. Do proper research and compare the plans before locking on a particular one.

“It was really fun jumping back into the world of cocktail making and experimenting with different natural flavors and emulsions to create something that stands out against hand-rruxed spritzes. It’s been something that I’ve been drinking a lot of in recent months and I’m chuffed to now share it with consumers on a national scale”, says Hysted-Adams.

It’ll be $25 for a 4-pack of Moon Dog Cooler, they’ll be wrapped up into a 16-can carton, meaning that a slab will be $100 bucks.

  • PepsiCo launches the world’s first-ever nitrogen-infused cola

    PepsiCo launches the world’s first-ever nitrogen-infused cola

The cola category has been around for over a century. While it’s had its share of flavor and packaging innovation, one thing has remained the same since the category’s inception – the bubbles. Pepsi is taking on its most ambitious feat yet, reimagining the cola experience with a massive innovation – Nitro Pepsi. Nitro Pepsi is the first-ever nitrogen-infused cola that’s actually softer than a soft drink – it’s creamy, smooth and has a mesmerizing cascade of tiny bubbles topped off by a frothy foam head.

Nitro Pepsi will have you reconsider what you know about cola. Smaller bubbles, also infused with nitrogen, create an unbelievably smooth, creamy texture made possible by a unique widget placed at the bottom of every can. This is the first time this type of widget technology, often seen in beer and coffee products, is being applied to the cola category and creates the frothy, foamy, smooth texture unique to Nitro Pepsi. It does not look and taste like a traditional cola or soda, and in fact, it’s best consumed differently as well.

While Nitro Pepsi is enjoyed from the can, there are a few steps you can take for optimal consumption. Nitro Pepsi is:

    • Best served cold, ideally without ice
    • Best “hard poured” or fully inverted into a tall glass
    • Best enjoyed sipped directly from the glass (rather than through a straw), allowing the unique foam head to leave a frothy, foamy mustache

Nitro Pepsi will be available in two delicious flavors, Draft Cola and Vanilla Draft Cola, in newly designed cans in both single-serve and 4-pack varieties.

“While soda has been a beverage of choice for so many consumers over the past century, some people still cite heavy carbonation as a barrier to enjoying an ice-cold cola.  With this in mind, we wanted to come up with a new way for people to enjoy delicious Pepsi cola, but with a new experience around the bubbles,” said Todd Kaplan, VP of Marketing – Pepsi. “Nitro Pepsi is a first-of-its-kind innovation that creates a smooth, creamy, delicious taste experience for fans everywhere. Much like how nitrogen has transformed the beer and coffee categories, we believe Nitro Pepsi is a huge leap forward for the cola category and will redefine cola for years to come.”

Pepsi announced its intent to use this nitro technology in 2019 and has been working tirelessly to build out this innovation ever since. Finally, Nitro Pepsi will be available nationwide on March 28. Accompanying the roll-out will be a fully integrated marketing campaign including a new national television commercial that reinforces the uniquely smooth and creamy experience of Nitro Pepsi. In addition, fans will be able to try Nitro Pepsi ‘on tap’ for the first time beginning March 25 in the Sky Lounge at The High Roller Observation Wheel at THE LINQ Promenade on the Las Vegas Strip.

  • Android users will love this hidden Gboard trick for sharing images

Android users will love this hidden Gboard trick for sharing images

Android’s Gboard virtual keyboard is full of tricks and is quite versatile. You can even set it up to “float” all over the screen making it easier to type with one hand. There are several different ways you can set up Gboard and the one that this writer uses allows a long-press to type numbers and punctuation instead of having to open another keyboard.

There is another Gboard “trick” that the app has up its digital sleeves that is perfect for those attaching an image to an email or a message. Gboard will allow you to make a copy of the image and keep it stored on Gboard until you need to paste it. It certainly is not time-consuming and could save you time and effort in the future.

Ready? Here’s what you need to do to enable this feature. First, open Gboard by tapping on any text field that is open. On a Pixel, you can press the Google Search field at the bottom of the home screen. On other Android models, you can open the messages app and tap the text field as though you are going to send a new message.

If there is a clipboard icon at the top row of the keyboard, press on it. If not, go to the three-dot menu icon on the right of Gboard’s top row. Tap it. Now tap on the small toggle switch on the top row of Gboard to enable the feature.

The last step is to open the settings menu on Gboard. You can tap the settings “gear” icon on the top of the keyboard. Tap on Clipboard and you’ll see three toggle switches. Make sure that they are all toggled on.

Okay, so now your Gboard app is all set. When you see an image on your Android browser that you want to share via an email or message, long-press on it and select the “Copy image” option. If you own a Pixel and you want to copy an image from an Android app that doesn’t offer a built-in copy option for images (such as Google Photos and Twitter), you can open the phone’s Overview area and long-press on any image to get an option to copy it.

Next, open the messaging or email app you are using such as Gmail or Messages, and find the thread or message you want to place the image in. Gboard will usually show a recommended placement of the image in the top bar at the center of the email or message. This process will also work with screenshots.

If Gboard doesn’t show a recommended placement for your image, tap on the clipboard icon in Gboard to retrieve your saved image. Tap that image while in Gboard and it will show up as an attachment on your email or message.

If you find that you are sharing certain images often, you can pin them in Gboard and have them ready for a quick two-tap placement into your email and messages. To do this, copy the image or screenshot you want to share. Open Gboard by tapping on an open text field.

Now, tap on the clipboard icon on Gboard’s top row or the three-dot menu on the keyboard. Select clipboard. Press and hold your finger on the image which will be on the top of Gboard’s clipboard list. From a menu of options, select “Pin.” The next time you open the clipboard, the pinned image will show up right under the most recently copied items. And that is all you need to do to more quickly and easily add images you want to share in your emails and messages!

  • Elon Musk Leaves $200-Billion-Club Empty

    Elon Musk Leaves $200-Billion-Club Empty

Geopolitical tensions affecting global stock markets have also cut into the fortunes of the world’s wealthiest.

The richest man on the planet has lost a large chunk of his wealth after Tesla shares fell 13 percent on Wednesday.

Until yesterday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was the only person whose wealth exceeded $200 billion, leaving the club-of-the-over-$200-billionaires empty. In the past, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ wealth also reached the $200 billion thresholds, the report says.

Musk’s wealth reached a record $340.4 billion in November last year, after which he sold over $16 billion worth of stock and donated $5.7 billion to charity.
